Supplied a EasyZoom 5 ultra-depth-of-field digital microscope to Zhengzhou Customs for close inspection of fine features, surface morphology examination and digital documentation of goods and items.
Customs inspection and identification work often requires examining surface morphology, fractures, platings and fibre structures. A conventional stereo microscope has limited depth of field and magnification range, making large or irregular samples hard to see at once. The MOTIC EasyZoom 5 ultra-depth-of-field microscope supplied to Zhengzhou Customs offers a large depth of field and a wide zoom range, allowing continuous observation from an overall low-power view to high-magnification detail without moving the sample, with the image shown on a monitor for joint assessment.
Installation, optics and illumination were commissioned on delivery, with hands-on demonstration and training on the inspector's own samples, covering ultra-depth observation, dimensional measurement and image archiving for inspection records.
