Company's Digital Interactive Classroom Supports Basic Medical Teaching at Henan Medical College
To further improve the quality of basic medical laboratory teaching, Henan Medical College has introduced a Motic digital microscope interactive classroom for morphology-related courses, empowering the training of medical talent.
This digital interactive classroom system integrates a professional biological microscope with a digital teaching platform. From the teacher's station, an instructor can centrally manage the microscope views of every student, instantly pull up a student's microscopic image for on-screen review, and support a variety of teaching modes such as live demonstrations, homework critique, and group discussion. Students can clearly observe pathology and histology slides on their own terminals and, when they run into questions, call for the teacher's help with a single click—breaking the one-way lecturing that has long limited the traditional microscopy classroom.
In basic medical teaching and research, this equipment overcomes the old pain points of low-efficiency teacher walk-around demonstrations and the difficulty of keeping students' sample observations in sync. In class, teachers can quickly display typical slide images and explain key knowledge points in a unified way, greatly improving the efficiency of morphology laboratory sessions.
Since being put into use, the system has enriched the range of teaching methods for basic medical laboratory education at Henan Medical College, upgraded the conditions for practical training, helped the college strengthen the cultivation of medical students' practical skills, and provided strong hardware support for innovation in basic medical teaching and research.
