Dual Wireless-Wired Links Bring the Morphology Classroom to Life—Digital Microscopy Interactive System Built by Our Company Goes into Use at Zhengzhou Polytechnic
In mid-September, the digital microscopy interactive laboratory system built by Zhengzhou Yuanguang Ruiye Instrument & Equipment Co., Ltd. for Zhengzhou Polytechnic completed installation and commissioning and was officially put into use. The system adopts a 'wireless + wired' dual-link architecture and covers 40 student stations, providing a brand-new solution for morphology laboratory teaching in the college's medical programs.
The microscope is a core tool for courses such as histology, pathology, and microbiology; students rely on it to observe slides and specimens and to identify cells and tissue structures. In the past, when the teacher demonstrated, dozens of students crowded around in turns to watch, one after another, and the teacher struggled to grasp each student's viewing status, greatly reducing teaching efficiency.
The digital interactive system built this time upgrades 'a single microscope' into 'a teaching network.' The 40 student stations are each equipped with an intelligent biological digital microscope, with a high-quality demonstration digital microscope at the teacher's end—every microscope has a built-in HD camera and wireless module, and its body is also equipped with an RJ45 network port, enabling parallel transmission of both wireless and wired signals. This is exactly what the system's 'dual-link' design is about: the wired link ensures high-speed, stable transmission of HD images, satisfying the whole class being online at once without lag; the wireless link requires no cabling and supports flexible access from mobile terminals such as tablets and phones, letting teachers and students engage in one-to-one text and image communication and requests for help anytime, anywhere. The two links complement each other, balancing stability and flexibility.
Through the accompanying digital interactive software, the teacher can monitor the whole class's on-screen microscope images in real time in 4-, 9-, or 16-grid layouts, broadcast their own image to every student station with one click, and also call up any student's microscope image for demonstration and explanation; features such as voice group discussion, dual-screen image comparison, real-time measurement and automatic counting, in-class assignment distribution, and experiment grading are all available, significantly boosting classroom interaction and teaching-management efficiency.
'In the past, to teach a point, students had to line up to look at the specimen; now I click the mouse at the podium and the same image appears on the whole class's screens.' The college's teachers said that since the system was put into use, demonstrations and explanations have become intuitive and efficient, students can also share their observations instantly, and their interest in learning has clearly increased.
As an officially authorized partner of MOTIC microscopes, Zhengzhou Yuanguang Ruiye has long been deeply engaged in the university microscopy teaching field. For this project, from solution design and equipment installation to system commissioning and teacher training, the company provides full-process service and promises long-term after-sales support. In the future, the company will continue to uphold the philosophy of 'win through quality, win through service' and contribute more to the digital transformation of vocational education.
