Peking University Health Science Center Opens a New Wireless Interactive Teaching Lab, Setting Another University Benchmark for Motic Microscopy Interaction
On September 1, 2025, the Motic Wi-Fi 6 wireless interactive teaching lab newly purchased by Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences during the summer was officially put into use. The lab integrates wireless interaction technology, a smart teaching system, and digital resource sharing, marking a new step in the digital-intelligent transformation of medical laboratory teaching.
Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences has long collaborated with Motic Optics—since 2014, the school has successively purchased eight Motic digital interactive classrooms, and this new lab is precisely an iterative upgrade launched on the basis of that long-term cooperation. The School of Basic Medical Sciences is affiliated with Peking University Health Science Center, and its basic medical disciplines were selected for the national 'Double First-Class' initiative.
To address the pain points of traditional teaching—time-consuming observation, difficult interpretation, and high data error—the system offers a multidimensional AI solution: combined with the Motic digital slide scanning system, it uses multi-level AI models and an expert knowledge base to enable real-time classified retrieval of both on-slide and digital slides; through multimodal AI models, it supports text, image, and voice interactions, helping teachers consolidate resources and optimize the teaching workflow.
Through digital microscopes with embedded smart chips and full Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity, the system supports real-time interconnection across multiple terminals—PCs, tablets, and phones—enabling instant transmission, dynamic annotation, and cloud storage of 4K-level microscope images. Students can call up cloud digital slides at any time and ask the teacher questions; the teacher's terminal offers panoramic monitoring, synchronously tracking all students' experiment progress and sharing desktop images, solving the difficulty of limited viewing distance on a large screen.
As an officially authorized MOTIC partner, Zhengzhou Yuanguang Ruiye Instrument & Equipment Co., Ltd. has been deeply engaged in university digital microscopy interactive teaching for many years and is a well-deserved leader in this field—its digital microscopy interactive teaching systems hold a 75% share of the university market, ranking first in the industry. Relying on full-process capabilities in solution design, equipment supply, installation and commissioning, and training, Yuanguang Ruiye will continue to help universities advance the digital-intelligent transformation of laboratory teaching.
