Project Overview
Equipped Nanyang Central Hospital with a AE31E inverted biological microscope and digital imaging system for microscopic observation and image capture of clinical and cytology samples.
Hospital laboratory and pathology work involves highly varied samples: urine sediment, body-fluid smears, cell cultures and parasites. An inverted microscope places samples from above, making it well suited to live cells in dishes and flasks and to direct wet-mount observation without slide preparation.
Nanyang Central Hospital was equipped with a MOTIC AE31E inverted biological microscope and digital imaging system. Installation, commissioning and optical alignment were completed, and laboratory staff were trained on brightfield observation, focusing and stage movement, image capture and exporting images for reports. The system is now part of the department's routine workflow, with images used directly for records and communication.
