Project Overview
Equipped the College of Biological Engineering at Henan University of Technology with M200D biological digital microscopes and digital imaging systems for biology teaching labs and microscopic image acquisition.
The College of Biological Engineering teaches microbiology, cell biology, genetics and related laboratory courses, where the microscope is one of the most heavily used instruments. The MOTIC M200D supplied is an integrated digital biological microscope with a built-in digital imaging module, so images can be shown on a monitor or PC while viewing through the eyepieces — one instrument serves a whole group for joint viewing and discussion.
Each unit was individually adjusted and optically aligned, and teachers were trained on objective switching, focusing, brightfield observation, image capture, measurement and saving. The systems are now used in undergraduate laboratories for microbial smears, cell morphology and tissue sections. Local engineers handle maintenance and on-site repair so that laboratory schedules are not disrupted.
